Hello, so my doctor asked to wait atleast 4 months until a new test, i finished the antibiotics in 24 of april, and i did a new endoscopy with biopsy and histology in 12 of september, and i received the results today, it shows minimum inflamations in antrum and fundus with no h pylori, however, since then i am still on PPI with no much relief from symptoms, i take probiotics and did not eat anything that can harm the stomach.
I am happy that h pylori is gone, but at the same time disappointed because i didnt get rid of symptoms. :|

Congrats in eradicating the H. pylori. That means your condition will stop getting worse. Some people does take longer time to heal. Hopefully you will recover soon. If PPI helps you with the symptoms, then you should continue.

Thank you very much. I had an appointment today, he said that the situation really improved a lot, at the last biopsy before the treatment the stomach was swollen and i had moderate atrophy, now it is just a small inflammation with no more atrophy, i was taking nexium 20mg and still struggling with symptoms, he told me to take 40mg at morning to see if i feel better, now i just have to wait and see how many time will take then.
Once more, thank you so much, Helico, for the guidance that you provided.

Well, two more months has passed and no improvements yet, at the last appointment he told me to take 40mg esomeprazole twice a day and gaviscon before i go to bed and that this should resolve my symptoms, however, there were no improvements again.
I want to ask you, Helico, if you have experience with nonulcer patients who do not respond to PPI? i did find some studies about this, most patients with nonulcer dyspepsia do not improve with h pylori eradication.

Majority of patients are actually mild to asymptomatic
only about 10% develop peptic ulcer disease.

I think most dyspepsia patients do return to normal. unfortunately you are one of those "rare" cases where symptoms persist.

Other than esomeprazole, you can also try other PPI, eg. rabeprazole. Sometimes other brands PPI work better.

Already tried this, doctor told me to try different brands to see if helps, lansoprazole, dexlasoprazole, pantoprazole, magnesium pantoprazole, esomeprazole and rabeprazole, he tried to increase the dose aswell. What makes even worse is that PPI cause an increase on my TGP and TGO levels, so i have to take a medication to protect my liver aswell. Nothing seems to work, i am still on a diet to avoid harmful foods, taking PPI, the endoscopy corfirmed the eradication, have no more atrophy or lymph nodes, and still symptomatic.
