Thanks for sharing your suffering! Good to know that I am not alone with some unresolved issues.. I wish you a full recovery.. For some it might take longer, so, don't lose the hope. Life is good, even with some stomach problems
they have made my daily routine much more mindful. As for symptoms they subsided 1,5 years after eradication and one full year was completely symptomless. Now, something is coming back. As I said, constant low-grade pain, fullness, bloating, discomfort, tenderness in the stomach area mainly during daytime. Pain score 1 or 2 out of 10. Not pleasant, but not catastrophic either. At least I know that I still need to take care of my stomach and pay attention what I eat & drink..
Do you mind if i ask your age? i heard recovery is based on your age, how healthy you are ( no smoking or drinking ) im 37 years old male and gotten the bacteria in Sydney Australia during my 3 months holiday. dirty restaurant. this was last January, Got endoscopy/colonscopy on August along with eradication H.Pylori with Antibiotics. 2 months eating bad stuff that i didnt know i shouldnt eat. Started having the right diet with LowFOdMAP on October... been 3/4 months now without PPI and controlled with diet.
In my Experience, if you get bloated, dull pain in stomache, normally you need to review again what you have been eating, I cut all sugar, gluten, i dont smoke or drink coffee, no spicy and sour food along with fatty food like oily food. No Fried food. i also do a light exercises like light jogging or swiming for an hour everyday. It helps with constipation and letting out the gas.
I actually had the symptoms that you had a month ago, apparently i couldnt eat Fragrant rice and i tried different vegetables and apparently i didnt cook that properly eventhough i cooked it for 15 mins. So i went back to my old diet that works for me...didnt have bloating anymore afterwards.
The day i dont get bloated anymore is the day i know that the food ive been eating is right. That is my indication. i will link you a link and maybe u should try and follow this list.It works for me in some food in this list...i will also tell you what i eat everyday that works for me, so maybe it would work for u too.

Check that link, what works for me....pretty much normal White Rice ( jasmine ), Chicken breast fillet, Fish, Vegetable that i eat is Bok choy/Pak choy, Carrot, Apple ( with the skin peeled off ), Pear....Grilled/steam/boiled/Baked,...as long as its not fried. and ...no coffee/tea/ milk/...i pretty much just drink water..you can make Apple or Carrot juice without sugar....also make sure when you cook vegetables, it has to be really really cook..you can use celtic salt or himalayan rock salt..just a pinch not too much
so yeah give that diet a shot if you want to see how it works out for you....i also eat probiotics everyday! i am going to try Virgin coconut oil soon and ive heard theres sooo much benefits for it!
yeahhh the recovery will take awhile , some ppl healed within 6 month! some 2 years! but from what i know even when youre fully healed, you need to be cautious with what you eat in the future, it wont be as normal as it used to be. Because i used to get Ulcer 10 years ago. i couldnt eat maybe like a handfull stuff, or else id get acid reflux for 3 days LOL. ...but i never had H.pylori, this is new, but reflux is reflux... same symptoms ya know.
i know a lot of ppl eating that diet that im having now and healed from H.pylori, hiatal hernia and gerd....
but hiatal hernia takes about 2 years minimum... their LES didnt close properly... but more than 2000 ppl are fully recovered..its from my local FB group.
