Hey Everyone,

You can find the latest H.Pylori medical research articles, clinical trials, and treatment effectiveness here:

Be sure to hit the follow button to get updates in your email.

When I had H.Pylori, it was hard to find trustworthy sources of information so I built an app to pull the latest (and most cited) research papers on H.Pylori straight from Pubmed, the largest medical research database. The app also pulls clinical trials that are recruiting for H. Pylori patients. Sometimes the trials will test new treatments so for those who had trouble eradicating it, they might interest you.

Hope this helps!

It's been around a month and half since I finished the triple therapy course. Rapid breath test for h pylori came negative this week. Most of my symptoms have been subsided, except for the problem of burping. Whenever I have a meal my stomach starts getting full with air which in turns cause burping. Also, I can only burp when I am standing or sitting straight; I cannot burp when I am bending and the burp keeps getting collected near throat which feels like a lump or blockage.

I still have mild antral gastritis and mild duodenitis. Is the discomfort is because of inflammation or is it something else?
Also suggest, what should I do to cure gastritis? I have heard that sometimes h pylori causes gastritis that can never be cured.

first of all, congratulation for your successful treatment.

It is common for patients to have symptoms after treatment. The recovery is subjective and depending on the damage done by H. pylori. If your symptom persist, talk to your doctor. He can give you something to ease your symptoms.

Thankyou for responding.

What I wish to know is whether the symptoms I am experiencing right now is because of previous presence of h pylori or is to due to mild antral gastritis and duodenitis that I have?

Most likely it is due to previous H. pylori infection. Some damage may be harder to heal and may take a longer time. Some members here take months or years to get back to normal. Most importantly is to stay positive. If you have reflux symptom, do take some PPI to protect your throat. If probiotics help, go for it.
