You need to wait for a month, without taking any medication, to repeat for your test for HP.

(Q2) what are the major symptoms of HP. from last ten days i am burping too much, i can tolerate chilly .
H. pylori is associated to a variety of gastric symptoms. However, some people does take some time to recover. The recovery could take weeks, months, or years depending on the severity of the damage done.

(Q3) I was HP positive around 10 years ago, now again i m tested positive. what should i do the prevent it forever.
It is not easy for adult to catch H. pylori again. Most likely you failed your treatment 10 years ago. However, reinfection is not impossible. If you live with someone else that is positive of H. pylori, your chance of catching it increases. So it is best to have everyone under the same roof to be treated.

We have done human trial on this. You can get reinfected with your own strain again and again.

minimum is 14 days without any medication. the longer the time, the higher the accuracy.

Hi Maria, may I ask you a question?
You mentioned that you had intestinal metaplasia at your first endoscopy and it then healed at your second endoscopy. I have intestinal metaplasia shown on my first endoscopy. I am just wondering whether you had still pain after h pylori eradication? Or have you recovered after antibiotic course?
I am apparently free of h pylori but I still have pain same as before and I reckon that could be because of intestinal metaplasia.
