I stumbled upon some studies that claim a child's height may be delayed due to h. pylori. Here is the main article that take a look into such studies: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2975089/ Please scroll down to "GROWTH RETARDATION".

5 studies can't find connection; 8 can find a relation - https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl ... /table/T3/

I think most of them failed to control for socioeconomic status though.

What do you think? Can this justify treating asymptomatic children in the developed world besides the risk of stomach issues later in life?

I find it hard to believe that HP has impact on children’s height.

By itself, this wand cannot affect the growth of your child. Still, since it is a chronic infection and can obliterate local immunity, it becomes an indirect cause of developmental delay. The thing is that thanks to the normal functioning of the intestines and stomach, the assimilation of food and metabolic processes occur. If the stick disrupts the functioning of the intestines, the work of the whole organism is accordingly disrupted. Thus it becomes an indirect cause. In that case, you can take regular growth measurements to keep track of potential growth and correct the situation in time. To make it easier for you to do this if the online tool https://www.heightcomparison.com. I would like your child to be healthy. Good luck to you!
