What yogurt or probiotics does everyone recommend?

At present some of these have been shown to have a modest effect in animals and slight effect in man (reducing H.p. - not curing it). They may do some good but can't compete with antibiotics at present. They may be the future if current research programs pay off.

I'm using Florastor now, for duration of antibiotics. It's only probiotic brand on the market which contains:
Saccharomyces

My preference for this brand is that Florastor claims antibiotics (somehow) has no effect on it because it's a yeast product.

From Florastor FAQ's

"When compared to bacterial probiotics, Florastor stays active even when taken along with antibiotics, to protect your GI tract especially when you need it most"

Not sure if this claim is correct, so I do separate timing of antibiotics from probiotics.

For post-antibiotic period, I plan to switch to brand containing more diversified strains

For antibiotics, you should spread it as evenly as possible through out the 24 hrs. The probiotics, it's up to you. You can have it whenever you find it useful.
