Asking for a friend

The various unpleasant manifestations of Helicobacter can be described here. Remember however that the great majority of persons with Hp have no symptoms that they are aware of and consider themselves normal.

you do need some reflux to push the bacteria back to your mouth in order to pass it to the next person.
we think that in the middle of the night, when you are asleep, when you are not swallowing, sometimes, you can have some reflux unknowingly.
So it is important to brush your teeth in the morning.

we think that in some developing countries or regions, where social economy is poorer, general knowledge about hygiene is poorer, people are less likely to maintain good oral hygiene and therefore, H. pylori prevalence is higher than the developed countries or regions.

in Australia, the city region where most people are educated about the importance of oral hygiene, the prevalence of H. pylori is very low. However, in the remote area of Australia where people are less aware of their oral hygiene, the H. pylori prevalence can be very high.
