I have done everything that is possible. Ayurveda and Homeopathy did not help either. I know it's not the best thing to stick to ppis for long time, but I guess, I have no other options.
You have the exact symptoms I experience. What are you planning to do? Did antibiotics help? Which country are you from?

I have no idea what to do. Doctors dismiss my condition saying the gastritis is mild and I don't need antibiotics. I strongly believe the condition is due to H Pylori. This all started 2 months ago when I was under stress. My endoscopy shows mild gastritis, but this mild case is reluctant to resolve.

What did your endoscopy show? Did you eradicate your h pylori successfully.

Btw i am from India

I too have mild antral gastritis. Not sure about eradication as tests are contradictory. Last time I tested, RUT was positive and histopathology was negative. However, symptoms are very much persistent. I must say I have had some recovery over past 3 years, but from last couple of days I am again experiencing the same debilitating symptoms.
I too am fom India, so I know how doctors treat their patients here. They don't believe h pylori is the reason for dyspeptic symptoms unless there is ulcer.
If you really believe h pylori is the culprit, go for antibiotics yourself.

So you had some recovery and your symptoms subsided. That's good news. May be you need to watch your diet and get everyone tested at home for HP, as much I have heard the bacteria is contagious and get can be acquired again from family members especially while sharing food or utensils not washed properly.

I am planning to start below supplements and see how my conditions progress, eventually taper the PPI's.

DGL licorice, Slippery Elm, Pepsin GI. Do let me know if you have already tried otherwise it is worth consideration

If you suspect H. pylori might be contributing to your symptoms, it's crucial to discuss this with your healthcare provider. They can consider various factors, including your medical history, symptoms, and test results, to determine the best course of action. Antibiotic treatment is often prescribed for confirmed H. pylori infection, but it should be done under the supervision of a healthcare professional to ensure the right antibiotics and dosage are used. wordle

@Helico expert, can you please advice how long person can be on PPI without any sever side effects. I need to stop the PPI so that i can go for h pylori test
Sorry for the late response.

PPI is pretty safe. Some people go on PPI for years.
But PPI can lead to low calcium absorption - osteoporosis.

You can switch PPI to something milder, such as H2 blocker or antacid.
