Advice needed

The various unpleasant manifestations of Helicobacter can be described here. Remember however that the great majority of persons with Hp have no symptoms that they are aware of and consider themselves normal.

There is no guideline to post treatment. However, in the forum, some members have good recovery with probiotics. I personally like mint tea and honey. Perhaps you can give these natural product a try.

Hi guys need some advice.

So finished triple therapy last Sunday. Everything was pretty good except one bout of diahrrea on the second day.

Anyway a few days after treatment I am getting diahrea again (quite watery which wasn't the case the one time I had it during treatment). I've had it for 2 days now. Other than Pro biotics is there anything I can do?

the watery diarrhea should gradually reduce. depending on how severe it is, if you think there is a need to seek medical advise, you should go see your doctor and check for potential C. diff complication.

Update

So things have settled down. Still get bouts of diahrrea the day after drinking alcahol so I guess that's a no no for now. Taking the VSL Pro biotics which is super strength live bacteria so hopefully that helps.

The positives are my stomach is not as noisy no more and I'm not getting hunger pangs which I did prior to taking the anti biotics.

I did a stool test prior to taking the anti biotics to check the amount of good bacteria and I was very low on some of the main ones ...and that was before taking antibiotics so god knows what if is now. Just got to take it easy for a while I guess.

For some reason I randomly remembered this thread and wanted to post a quick update that I eventually tested negative for Hpylori.
