Adding Bismuth for better chances of eradication?

I have been prescribed Amoxicillin, Clarithromycin and Pantoprazole. I haven't started taking them yet because I'm terrified of it failing. I'm very sensitive to side effects of drugs usually.

I have read about Bismuth increasing the chances of eradication, while also preventing nausea and potential complications like C. diff. I know Bismuth is not typically added to the combination mentioned above, but could it still be beneficial to take it? Can I ask my doctor to add Bismuth to the Amoxicillin+Clarithromycin+Pantoprazole therapy?

Amoxicillin and clarithromycin are very common antibiotics and give very little side effect. You can ask your doctor to include bismuth to boost the cure rate.
