I started randomly getting some gastritis like symptom in January 2017. Main symptom was when I ate it felt like my stomach was filling with air. Therefore I couldn't eat as much or as often. I also would get acid reflux. PPI really don't help the air feeling and make me feel bloated like Im not digesting properly. We need acid after all. After loosing weight I Started consuming DGL in large quantities - way more than recommended and it helped with that air feeling and upset feeling. Anyways the last couple girls Ive been with have been diagnosed with H pylori after dating me. So my Dr. ordered stool test and blood work. Stool Negative and blood test below the levels of 0.8 BUT just barley. It was like 0.2. So if I have antibodies then I must have contracted it???? How else would I have antibodies as well as these symptoms. I find this to be more than a coincidence. I think DGL had reduced bacteria by thickening the mucous. There are plenty of university studies stating these antibodies last just weeks/months. Clearly then I have had this H. Pylori. What now??? Drug free - no alcohol - no nicotine.

If you have H. pylori, your antibody level will be high. I think you had been exposed to H. pylori, but it wasnt able to colonise in you. Your immune system fend off the H. pylori. So you have some level of antibodies left.

PPI can sometimes interfere with stool test. Perhaps you want to stop PPI for a while and repeat the stool test. alternatively, you can try breath test.
