your abdominal pain, maybe related to the medication.

your headache and dizziness, maybe more to do with your new glasses.

we should wait and see what happened in 2 weeks time. hopefully the medication works for you.

Re: 3 times failure of H.pylori treatment, please help me!

the short answer is no.

your tap water has to be very contaminated to get h. pylori. "very" contaminated means, you'll find other coliforms, such as E. coli. I'll get Prof. Marshall to look at your case when he is free.

Re: H. Pylori and IBS

Hi,

blind testing is not very healthy to you and the system. you'll end up spending more money trying different things. I suggest you get a proper test before any treatment.

Re: 3 times failure of H.pylori treatment, please help me!

if you get a border line positive, you should wait for another month and re-test. i dont think you are re infected. If the result is true positive, then it will be because the last treatment killed 99% of the bug and the 1% survived and re-dominate the stomach. i would suggest you to get an endoscop...

Re: How should I do to avoid transmission?

the exact transmission route has not been established. however, in general speaking, we got it via fecal-oral or oral-oral route. We also believe that most of us got it while we were at young age. Many studies have shown that children as young as 2 years old were diagnosed with H. pylori infection. ...

Re: To Dr Marshall please

Hi, I can help Prof. Marshall with this question. All H. pylori strains have urease and hence, the chance of false positive using breath test due to different strains is almost zero. Re: Breath test after treatment-? for Dr. Marshall

Hi, it's a border line count for your breath test. It could be any reasons, such as the pill was not correctly ingested, other urease positive bacteria is around, etc etc. I agree with your doctor. repeat the breath test again in a month time. also, I like to remind you that it takes time for your s...

Re: How should I do to avoid transmission?

such experiment has not been done because H. pylori is sort of sensitive to oxygen. So, i wouldnt expect H. pylori to be cultured from anywhere other than the stomach.
