Re: How should I do to avoid transmission?

I think it will be great to have a vaccine. Especially for those of us with a family history of gastric cancer.
I agree. then again, HP is just a inducing agent. if the individual is already a carrier of gastric cancer gene, is a matter of time for the cancer shows up, with or without HP.

Re: Pre Existing Tinnitus

Your dizziness is probably due to your lost of blood. if you are going for endoscopy, perhaps you should not take prevpack. as it will ...

Re: New to forum..not to H Pylori

you can probably try PPI to reduce the acid in your stomach. It usually takes time to recover to the normal state. Hope you get well soon. Remember that you need to stop antibiotic and PPI for 4 weeks before your stool or breath test. I would suggest you to do a breath test instead. it is much easie...

Re: Helicobacter aftermath

constipation has not been consistently reported. some people suggest that H. pylori is the culprit while some disagree. I am more to the disagree site. same to diarrhea. the argument is, H. pylori can only survive in the stomach. so it will only cause trouble in the stomach. however, some scientist ...

Re: Helicobacter aftermath

your abdominal pain, maybe related to the medication.

your headache and dizziness, maybe more to do with your new glasses.

we should wait and see what happened in 2 weeks time. hopefully the medication works for you.

Re: 3 times failure of H.pylori treatment, please help me!

the short answer is no.

your tap water has to be very contaminated to get h. pylori. "very" contaminated means, you'll find other coliforms, such as E. coli. I'll get Prof. Marshall to look at your case when he is free.
