Re: Post treatment and healing

Brilliant, thank you for all the help. Without your guidance and expertise to change the ppi and take it 3 times a day, combined with pepto bismol I don't think I would have got this far. You guys do all this work for free to help people across the world that are struggling in their daily lives, and...

Post treatment and healing

Hi Helico_expert, You told me to let you know how I get on. So after my second round of antibiotics I did a stool test 3 weeks after (was advised by Gp to) thought it was a bit odd as usually everywhere I read you should wait 4 weeks. Regardless I tested negative normal stool sample (bit worried if ...

Brown Seaweed or Bladder-wrack seaweed

I have come across a few sites, and clinics that claim to use this as a treatment. Here is an extract: In our clinic, our protocol is to supplement with Bladder-wrack seaweed capsules on an empty stomach. The bacteria loves Fucose, a simple sugar found in Bladder-wrack and mushrooms. Leaving the sto...

Recovery period from H.P damage

I've had my second round of triple therapy, and just waiting on a retest stool to see if it has been eradicated. I feel somewhat better then before but still suffering with symptoms and inflammation. I was just wondering what the usual time for recovery is averagely, and also if I've had it for abou...

Re: Stool PCR test?

To all those questions no, the General Practitioners in London aren't that great and not a lot of information is given. It's hard enough getting a appointment let alone a test done. I think the only way to improve things would be to go private, or a specialist department

Re: Stool PCR test?

My GP is only using the stool PCR test too. They told me a similar thing that is a good indicator. I suppose they have found it twice with it. They won't offer me any other types of tests. However I did come across this study: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28515219/ Also halfway down a lot of info...

Is ppi the issue?

So had a treatment of amoxicillan and Clariythomycin, didn't work. Using the ppi omeprazole each time. Second treatment the same but metronidazole instead of clarithromycin. Hasn't made much difference whatsoever and the second treatment I even added in pepto bismol. So now I'm thinking maybe the pp...
