Well I just got the results of my breath test today and after 3 attempts I have just got a negative result, so I am delighted! Although now I’m worried why still the reflux symptoms???

Hi there, my main symptom of helicobacter is acid reflux. I don’t know if it is causing me to have low acid but all I know no matter what amount of PPI I took it did t relieve the symptoms. I am finished my antibiotics now though, waiting to be tested but need to be off the ppi to get tested so thought it might be worth a try to relieve reflux symptoms that are still persisting?

Can I ask if I start taking these remedies should I stop the ppi?

So consultant is referring me for getting a camera down, I’m very anxious about it… worried they will discover something more sinister… yet I know I need some answers….

I’m currently on 60mg of esompezole and still the reflux is a problem. To be honest that’s the main side effect I have always had. Always into the back of my throat, not so much my chest. More symptomatic of silent reflux I would have said. What medication would give you total acid blockage?

Unfortunately I can’t give you any success stories but your two treatments were the same as my first two and I tried all those other supplements which just were a waste of time and money!! Last time I got tested I was still on ppi and still tested positive, that was with stool test.
